German HR Operations Specialist - Athens

Supporting the HR department of one of our clients!

Your Skillset

Native or near native German speaker, with advanced English skills (at least C1 level)
Have several years of operational experience in the area of preparatory payroll accounting - ideally via Datev - and would like to use your expert knowledge
Comprehensive knowledge of German labor law, social security, wage and tax law
Be able to work independently, structured and conscientiously but also as part of a team where you enjoy helping people and feel comfortable as a link between different interest groups
Have an affinity for numbers and are experienced in using MS Excel, have high quality standards and enjoy solving complex issues

Your Role

Together with the team, you will be responsible for the preparatory payroll and act as the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders (tax office, international payroll service providers, managers, etc.)
Work hand in hand with the HR business partners and help provide optimal support to employees in all phases of the employee lifecycle
Coordinate the extensive induction program
Be first point of contact for authorities, health insurance companies and process inquiries regarding statutory information, certification and reporting obligations
Responsible for the company pension scheme and diverse benefits package, for which you continually develop new ideas
Responsible for recording and maintaining all data in the HR systems and creating evaluations as part of HR controlling
